Magic Boots
There once was a pair of magic boots
Donned by a little old man If you took him by the elbow He could take you to any land
He'd tap his magic boots One, two, one and two And whoosh through the twirly tunnel To a lay with a bewitching view

Colossal Secrets
The sun has seeped below the horizon. The wind whistles wildly through the cracked open window. But at once, it lulls to a hypnotizing whisper; The wispy whisper wakes my mind. I listen intently, for I detect its wish - To express a message.
I detect speech in the whispers, Spooky and surreal as it may be. "What?" I hear myself call to the wind. Suddenly it wrangles itself around again, Almost as if angry that I don't understand.

My head feels like it's cracked open Like a thick shelled egg that met its fate On the blunt edge of the kitchen counter
The pieces number into the millions Like teensy shards of glass splintering inward Throughout my broken face
Only there's one obviously large crude piece Wedged brutally between my eyes That won't budge for its bullheadedness
But to barely touch it Brings me to my knees in screams Why is this always real? - Never a nightmarish dream?
It might be more like an ice pick But does it matter if it brings my demise? Early as it may seem?
I feel the blood oozing and dripping from the wound Like the shiny slimy yoke
It was just after nightfall, and I realized I needed to fade away... the beach was always the best breathable place to be. It was never too far, but I most often brought a flashlight.
