Best of My Friends and Watchers 2011Happy New Year Everyone!!!
   Hard to believe that 2011 has already come and gone, seems like it just flew by! I've met so many new friends and discovered so many talented artists this year. You, my friends have amazed me! You've shown me places that I have always wanted to see.. So many times my heart filled up with joy and laughter at your sight of your delightful animal photos! Thank you for showing me that there are more seasons than just summer ( I do live in Louisiana after all! lol)  I thank you for your encouragement and support but most of all, I thank you for your friendship!
   In Jan. of 2010 I started a folder called the "Best Of", then at the end of the year I put together several features from that folder showcasing the most amazing works of art that I have found here on DA. In Jan. of 2011, I started my collection all over again. Now is the time that I get to share all the wonderful treasures I have found!

A touch of colour in the DarkOne of my very favourite art genres is the Dark Arts :bulletblack: :heart: :bulletblack:
Wiki defines the Dark Arts as, "primarily a product of the 20th Century, dark art is an art style defined as that being "dark" or unsettling in nature."
Some are visually 'disturbing' (like those amazing pieces by artists such as :icondan-harding:, others are emotionally 'disturbing' (like those stunning works by artists such as :iconbeatrizmartinvidal:).

Being Thankful Watcher FeatureHello Friends,
With Halloween now behind us, our  attention now focuses on our next holiday...Thanksgiving. There are so many things in my life to be thankful for, my wonderful husband, son and of course Mr. Salem. Hello Everyone,
Today I am featuring some of my favorite Wildlife photos from 2011. This feature was really hard to put together because I had so many magnificent photos to choose from.
